Three steps, about twenty seconds
The whole point is that it fits into the moment you actually find something funny — scrolling, chatting, waiting for a bus. You forward it and forget it.
Attach a picture, or paste a video link
A photo, a screenshot, a meme, a scan — anything visual. A link to a video works too. This part is required: an email with only words in it is not picked up, because there is nothing to build a joke around.
Say what's funny about it
One line in the subject or the body is plenty — an in-joke, a name, why it made you laugh. Optional, but it is the difference between a generic joke and one that lands.
Send it and move on
Send from the address on your subscription so we know who it is for. There is no confirmation email — it is deliberately fire-and-forget.
We read the picture, not just the words
An AI looks at what you sent and describes it — what is in the image, what the text on it says, what language that text is in. That language decides which audience it belongs to, so a French meme is filed as French even when your own account is set to English.
From there it joins the pool your loved one's jokes are drawn from. It may come back rewritten around their name, their interests and the things they have laughed at before — so what you send is a seed, not the finished joke.
The small print, honestly
- Up to 15 pictures a day from one sender. Send a batch in one email or spread them out — the limit is the same.
- Send the same thing twice and we ignore it. The same picture with a different note, though, counts as a new idea and is kept.
- Caring for more than one person? Put their email address in the subject line and it goes to them. Leave it out and we have to guess.
- Not a subscriber yet? Send anyway. It is kept as a suggestion, and you can start a free trial whenever you like.
- Your pictures stay yours. They are used to build jokes for your own cared-for person and are never published or sold.
